MEET THE CHEFS

As an organiastion we work very closley with two Celebrity Chefs: Richard Fox (Right) and Nigel Brown (Left). Recycling and green issues are a major concern to both chefs and they are keen to get involved in the campaign. They have both been involved in a number of similar projects that include school meals and help the aged.

Richard Fox

Richard has a distinguished career and has recently appeared in a series with Neil Morrissey called Risky Business on Channel 4. Other TV appearances include BBC2 Food Poker and he is currently filming a series for UK TV Food that is on air in a few months. In addition, he is the resident chef for Harvey Nichols Gourmet Events. Richard has three key areas of interest; Home Brewing, Cooking with Home Grown Produce and Promoting the Gastronomic Qualities of Beer. Richard has a flamboyant presentation style that will add huge flair and create a memorable performance.






NIGEL BROWN

Nigel Brown runs an exclusive cookery academy in Lincolnshire and caters for prestigious VIP events including royalty. He regularly demonstrates at top food festivals and shows throughout the UK from Brighton’s Jubilee Square, Royal Hampton Court Palace to Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. He frequently appears on BBC Radio Humberside’s and works alongside other top chefs such as James Martin and Ainsley Harriott. Nigel often jokes he is the original tight Yorkshireman but his message is clear – buy once, cook twice and keep it simple – good food speaks for itself. In the words of Jean-Christophe Novelli, “It’s a pleasure to watch Nigel on stage or in the kitchen, he has a natural ability to entertain an audience with his fantastic skill and gentle manner”.

One of our newest editions to the Love Food Hate Waste crew, Dan is an extremely talented chef who has a natural ability in advising, helping and entertaining the public. In his own unique manner he captures the imagination of the audience. Dan has also developed a fantastic range of cooking kits that capsulate great flavour, help make your food go further and last longer
